lyrics

The misty moon comes down and swirls with the surface of the underground
I have been there

And watching as the strings entangle with the living things I follow down
as if I care

About the dim uncertain shroud that seems to smile as it hangs around
just over there…and everywhere

A fence surrounds a place of lost and lonely dreamers and unfortunates
with no escape

No matter how they wish upon a star or bargain with the silhouettes
they cannot stay

So neither here nor there while arguing the merits of this solitaire They kneel and pray
iust like yesterday

A thinning patch of light is breaking through the cloudburst Sunday shining bright
if I can see

A way around the current nightmare of a strangers stare a random fight
will not find me

Within the haze a sunshine ray can make you sad but inadvertently you starve at sea...
you starve for me!

about

Mutiny in Jonestown Washington

Influenced by classic 70's progressive rock bands like King Crimson, Van Der Graaf Generator & Genesis - along with late 60's psychedelia from The Beatles, Procol Harum & Pink Floyd (with a little 70's Black Sabbath thrown in for good measure), Mutiny in Jonestown has always sought to take these influences and synthesize them into something new.

The band has released 42 albums since 1987.
