lyrics

Sun rise in the East, Sun set in the West
the North will never know, why South has come out blessed

An ancient visitor has yet returned it seems
On clouds of starry mist the Autumn reigns supreme

The ocean rises up while valleys fill and fass
the plains become a swamp, stampeding animals

Which way to go away the answer never clear
I'll think until the dawn but won't get any nearer

I sit, October heat, with flashing lights of black
I only try to sleep but always make it back

A yellow jumping bird has flashed onto the grass
and though it's yesterday and still it's wings will flap

The dogs will sleep until another walks on by
then chaos breaks and runs as if to slowly fly

A ship of crystal cold will one day land again
and I can trade my sweat for hooded sweatshirts then

about

Mutiny in Jonestown Washington

Influenced by classic 70's progressive rock bands like King Crimson, Van Der Graaf Generator & Genesis - along with late 60's psychedelia from The Beatles, Procol Harum & Pink Floyd (with a little 70's Black Sabbath thrown in for good measure), Mutiny in Jonestown has always sought to take these influences and synthesize them into something new.

The band has released 42 albums since 1987.
